"Kailpodh (May):
Celebrated in September, this festival marks the end of sowing season and alerts farmers to prepare protection of their crops. This festival accounts to great feast and games in the village.

Kaveri Shankarama (September):
The biggest and the most important festival in Coorg, people here believe Goddess Cauvery appears in the form of a swelling in a small water tank near Talakaveri. Pilgrims take a dip in this tank to experience a sin-cleansing bath.

Puttari (November):
Puttari means new rice, is the harvest festival celebrated in Coorg. On this day, the locals here decorate their house with flowers, mango and banana leaves, cook a feast."
